Why is this not free?

Snapshot has always been built around a large amount of free bonus content, and that will not change. Most bonus content for Snapshot is free and will stay free.

However, some of these larger city event packs are created by passionate community creators who spend many hours writing, generating, testing, and polishing new content. These projects can also involve significant generation costs.

For selected packs we allow creators to ask for a small donation so there is a way to give something back to the people putting in the work.

This helps support community-made content while keeping most bonus content free for everyone.

⚠️ Important:

Bonus Content cannot run on their own. You MUST have the newest (free) version of Snapshot! installed.  Works also for the Patreon versions!

This pack is not officially associated with 'Snapshot!' or TinySecretGames, but adding Bonus Content has explicit permission from the developer as long as it is free community content.

 How to Install Snapshot! Bonus Content Packs

 Step 1: Install Snapshot!

- Download and install the latest version of Snapshot!  

  -> https://tinysecretgames.itch.io/snapshot  

- Extract the game into its own folder (for example: C:\Games\Snapshot!)

 Step 2: Find the BonusContent Folder

- Inside your Snapshot! game folder, there is a folder called "BonusContent".  

- Example path: Snapshot! V0.X\BonusContent\

- Don't see the BonusContent folder even though you have the newest version? Then create it by your own. Some zip software deletes empty folders when unpacking.

 Step 3: Install the Bonus Content Packs

- Download the Bonus Content pack .zip file.  

- Extract the contents of the .zip and copy it into the Snapshot!\BonusContent\... folder 

The result should look like this:  

 Snapshot! V0.X\BonusContent\PACKNAME\PACKNAME.ini  

✔ When you start Snapshot!, it will automatically load any Bonus Content from this folder.  

✔ You will see the pack in the Bonus Content Manager to activate

❌ If you don’t see the text, the pack is not in the right folder.  

   Make sure extracting the pack does not create an extra folder, e.g.  

   WRONG: Snapshot! V0.X\BonusContent\PACKNAME\PACKNAME\PACKNAME.ini  

- You can have multiple mods in parallel, each in their own folder.

WARNING

- Do not modify files that are not in the Snapshot\BonusContent\... folder, otherwise you risk breaking the game or losing your savegame!
